Veneers...
Veneers are thin overlays that are bonded to the front of the teeth to offer really noticeable improvements to shape and colour. They are relatively quick and easy to fit and offer a quick solution. Porcelain veneers offer more durability, as the tooth is shaved down and the porcelain veneer then attached to the remainder of that tooth. They are also generally less prone to any discolouration. Both of these types of veneers give you the best-looking smile for a number of years and can be colour matched to your preference.
Crowns...
A crown is a tooth shaped cap that gets placed over your tooth. For those who have teeth that are missing or damaged, porcelain crowns offer a perfect and permanent solution. They look natural, they get matched to the patients tooth colour and they are both durable and comfortable in the mouth structure and once in place will feel like and function like a normal tooth.
Implants...
Dental implants can be compared to the root of a tooth. They are embedded in the bone and can serve as a great pillar for any other prosthetic procedures such as bridges and crowns. Implants are great in the way that they function just like a normal tooth. They don’t just mask where a tooth used to be, they in effect become the new tooth giving your mouth the complete look with no gaps. The Zirconia titanium implants we use are made of biocompatible materials so the body accepts this and considers it normal and not a foreign body. They are a great option to restore any missing teeth in the mouth.
Bridges...
Bridges offer an easier procedure when compared to implants and with this option you don’t need to worry about the density of your jawbone. It’s a good option to replace a missing tooth or teeth essentially by bridging the gap with an artificial tooth that is fixed to teeth either side rather than being implanted into the bone. First the adjacent teeth next to where the bridge will be fitted are filed and an impression of the site it taken for creation of the mould. The mould is then used to create a bridge that matches your own teeth. Then the bridge is anchored in place.
Teeth Whitening...
With all procedures, there is also the option to have teeth whitened - this works well if for example you have just had some implants or crowns and want a fresh brighter smile.
